a safe space for healing & growth
Hi, I’m Cathy.
I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), OCD Spectrum Disorders, and anxiety-related conditions using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based approach for OCD.
OCD often shows up in ways that are misunderstood or hidden through intrusive thoughts, mental rituals, avoidance, or “not just right” feelings. Many people experience significant shame around these symptoms and worry about being judged or misunderstood. In this space, intrusive thoughts are understood as symptoms of OCD, not reflections of who you are. Nothing you share will be met with judgment or alarm.
My intention is to create an environment where you can speak openly about your experiences, even the thoughts, fears, or urges that feel most distressing or difficult to discuss. Together, we will work to reduce the power OCD has over your life while helping you develop a different relationship with uncertainty, anxiety, and unwanted thoughts.
My Approach
With over 13 years of clinical experience and advanced training and certification in ERP, I offer structured, collaborative treatment tailored to your specific symptom patterns, values, and goals. Therapy is active and intentional, focused on helping you gradually face feared thoughts or situations while learning to respond differently to anxiety.
Services include assessment, psychoeducation, individualized treatment planning, exposure-based interventions, and relapse prevention. I work with a wide range of OCD presentations and co-occurring anxiety disorders.
My goal is to help you stop organizing your life around OCD and start reconnecting with what matters most to you. I welcome individuals of all identities and backgrounds. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this process.
