Hi, I’m Cathy.
I’m an integrative therapist with over 10 years of experience and a passion for creating a safe space for healing and self-discovery.
Reaching out to a therapist can feel overwhelming and incredibly vulnerable - I’ve been there too. There can be a lot of anxiety and self-doubt in asking for help. I will meet you with openness and curiosity and move at a pace that is comfortable to you.
Healing happens through relationships. When we can share all parts of ourselves with another and be truly seen. Witnessed. Understood. The messy, the dark, the confusing and the seemingly unlovable. All parts of you are welcome here.

Anxiety
You aren’t able to relax. You’re thinking about the past or worrying about the future. You can’t get a good night sleep and it’s catching up with you. You’re overthinking and jumping to worst-case-scenarios. It’s hard to remember things, you can’t concentrate, and making decisions can be paralyzing. You’re not alone and I can help. I will teach you strategies that calm your nervous system and put you back in control over your thoughts. Therapy will help you calm your mind, calm your body and regain control of your thoughts.

Childhood Trauma
It can feel incredibly unsettling to face your past. The very same strategies that helped you cope as a child may cause suffering in your life now. Common challenges include relationship problems, self-sabotage, anxiety, depression, and shame. You may feel like there is something wrong with you, rotten at your core. But you are not bad or broken. Together, we will create safety. We will heal what is hurt and give space to what yearns to be expressed. We will restore safety in your nervous system so you can feel peace in your body.

Depression
Depression can make every task seem like an uphill battle. You want things to get better but aren’t sure that they can. No matter what you do, it doesn’t seem to work. You may feel hopeless and trapped. Maybe you’re having dark thoughts and it’s hard to open up about them. I’m here to provide a safe space without judgment. I will help you take back control of your life from the all-consuming grasp of depression. You are worthy of a life of connection and joy. The sooner you start, the sooner you will feel better.

EMDR
Trauma is an injury, not a life sentence. An injury that can be healed. Trauma is stored in the mind and body, and as a result symptoms can be physical and mental. Maybe you’ve tried talk therapy but you hit a wall you couldn’t move past. You’re ready to try something different. EMDR is a holistic therapy that focuses on your mind, body, and emotions. I will work with you to reprocess your trauma so it no longer has a hold on your life. You can take back your power and reconnect with your self, your body, and your life.

Perinatal Mental Health
This season of life can be overwhelming, anxiety-inducing, confusing, and incredibly challenging. Things that you thought you had resolved may resurface or new things may arise and blindside you. Maybe you have struggled with anxiety and depression in the past, but it’s never been this bad. Whether you are trying to get pregnant, experiencing infertility, currently pregnant, or a new mom, there is help and support available here. I will provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore all aspects of your journey.
